Yes, we handle both new construction and remodeling projects. Whether building an addition, renovating a space, or making structural modifications, we provide comprehensive carpentry services.

Custom Work

Yes, we design and build custom furniture and built-ins tailored to fit specific spaces and styles. This includes bookshelves, entertainment centers, dining tables, and other handcrafted pieces.

Yes, we offer specialized expertise in historic restoration and can repair or replicate period woodwork to preserve a home’s architectural integrity while ensuring long-term durability.

In most cases, matching existing woodwork is not an issue but there are instances where a molding is no longer available. In these rare instances, we do our best to find something comparable or can work with a milling company to re-create your woodwork.

We collaborate with homeowners to refine designs, select materials, and ensure that the final product aligns with their vision and functional needs.

Process & Timeline

Timelines vary depending on the scope of work. Small projects, such as built-ins or custom furniture, may take a few days to a couple of weeks, while larger remodels and additions can take several weeks or months. A detailed timeline is provided at the start of each project.

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, particularly for larger projects. Scheduling depends on workload and project complexity. We tend to book out our projects a few months in advance.

The process begins with an initial consultation to discuss project goals and assess the space. We then provide a detailed estimate and timeline. Once work begins, we maintain open communication throughout the project and ensure that the final product meets the client’s expectations.

We handle all necessary permits to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Materials & Quality

We work with a variety of high-quality materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, reclaimed wood, and specialty materials, depending on the project requirements. For new builds, we exclusively use materials that meet our standards for craftsmanship, beauty, and long-term durability.

Yes, we can incorporate reclaimed or specialty wood into projects to achieve a unique aesthetic or meet sustainability preferences.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing is based on materials, project complexity, and labor. A detailed estimate is provided before work begins to ensure transparency.

For larger projects, a deposit is required to secure scheduling and cover initial material costs.

We accept cash, checks, Venmo, or PayPal. Our $150 consultation fee (credited to the project upon contract signing) can be paid online with a credit card or PayPal.

Warranties & Maintenance

Yes, we stand behind our craftsmanship and offer 1-year warranties on our work.

We are happy to provide maintenance recommendations tailored to each project, including proper cleaning, refinishing, and protection of wood surfaces.

Miscellaneous

We aim to accommodate scheduling needs and can coordinate work while the homeowner is away, if necessary.

Yes, we work closely with trusted, insured subcontractors such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC, painters, plasterers, roofers, Masons, floorers, etc.
