Our work covers all aspects of carpentry from framing to finish. 

We prefer that clients come to us with completed design plans or work with their own architect or designer prior to starting a project. However, we understand that’s not always possible, so if needed, we can provide design services for an additional cost.  Yes, we offer free initial consultations and estimates. Each project is unique, and we take the time to understand the scope of work before providing a detailed quote. 

We primarily serve Waltham, Watertown, Belmont, and surrounding areas within a 40-minute radius. Depending on the project, we may be able to accommodate work beyond this range.

In most cases, matching existing woodwork is not an issue but there are instances where a molding is no longer available. In these rare instances, we do our best to find something comparable or can work with a milling company to re-create your woodwork.

Timelines vary depending on the scope of work. Small projects, such as built-ins or custom furniture, may take a few days to a couple of weeks, while larger remodels and additions can take several weeks or months. A detailed timeline is provided at the start of each project. 

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, particularly for larger projects. Scheduling depends on workload and project complexity. We tend to book out our projects a few months in advance.

Pricing is based on materials, project complexity, and labor. A detailed estimate is provided before work begins to ensure transparency. 

For larger projects, a deposit is required to secure scheduling and cover initial material costs.

While we do not offer direct financing, we can discuss phased work or staged payments for larger projects. 

Yes, we stand behind our craftsmanship and offer warranties on our work. Warranty details depend on the type of project and will be discussed at the time of service. 

If asked, we are happy to provide maintenance recommendations tailored to each project, including proper cleaning, refinishing, and protection of wood surfaces. 

If maintenance if required beyond the warranty, yes, we offer touch-ups and maintenance services as needed for a charge. Clients can reach out at any time for assistance with refinishing or minor adjustments. 

We aim to accommodate scheduling needs and can coordinate work while the homeowner is away, if necessary. 

Yes, we work closely with trusted, insured subcontractors such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC, painters, plasterers, roofers, Masons, floorers, etc.
